My niche is playing characters who have a single-minded soul purpose for living. Characters like Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich, Mariska Hargitay in Law & Order: SVU and Hilary Swank in Conviction.
Through acting I explore the human experience in a profound way. It allows me to connect to my own humanity and vulnerability, when this is shared it connects me to everything around me. I love narrative and my creativity is ignited as a storyteller. Our stories are powerful, hilarious, tragic, beautiful and heartbreaking. Alone with our stories we feel isolated, in sharing them we connect. And because I believe we are all here to connect, I choose story as my medium. I love being an actor.
I am constantly working on my craft as an actor. One of my trusted guides in the continued journey with my work is my exceptional teacher, John Dapolito. I also am deeply involved in Embodiment Process work which is energetic healing that focuses on the intelligence of the body.
